Butterfly swap
These are the fabrics and wishes from the butterfly swap that I have recently taken part in. I have washed and cut my fabric, made my wishes and mailed these out. So am eagerly waiting for my fabrics to arrive. These will hopefully make 2 rows of the single heart block quilt that I have started to make for Isabella.

Fairy fabric swap
Thanks to everyone who took part and sent these beautiful fairy fabrics. Thanks J for being such a great swap hostess:)
The fabrics were sent from the following people: Janet Oatway, Chrissy Conant, Judith LaRoue, Nazareth Porras Rodriguez, Rose Connolly, Tiffany Zendejas,
Bonnie Pontillo, Kristy Gray, Maria Teresa Fulgado Perez.
Shabby chic swap
This was a small swap and these are the fabrics I recived from the following people:
Terri Helfinstine; Maria Teresa Fulgado Perez; Rose Connolly; Heldy Ham ;Jodi Williams; Lynn Gerhart.
The photograph doesnt give the fabrics justice. Some of them are very beautiful. Sadly one person didnt mail out the squares and wishes. As this was a small group we all decided to send two. Its such a shame when that happens.

In the Pink Swap
These squares and wishes have arrived over the last week from the pink swap I hosted.
The pretty pink butterfly fabrics are from Trina Rilea, another November 06 LID person!

This photograph shows two swaps. The pink ladybird fabrics are from the Sweatmon family, AL, and the pink and green butterfly print and pink polka dot print comes from Debbie Sauer, PA.

I have now received 10 fabrics from 5 of the group members. There were 15 of us in total and I swapped two squares and wishes with each person. The last mailing date is June 15th so I look forward to getting the remaining squares and wishes over the next couple of weeks.
Additionally I also joined a small shabby chic swap. And mailed out 16 squares for that swap, so those fabrics should also be arriving in the next few weeks. These are being collected to make baby Wong a heart single quilt for when baby Wong outgrows the cot and moves into a big bed!

Pink Swap
Yes I know, my OHGW quilt is finished and is being posted back from the quilters. In a mad moment I have started sewing a quilt for the spare bedroom and also organised another 'pink swap'. The logic, well none but it keeps me busy and my mind off referrals! Also I decided that if we get referred twins which is highly unlikely then I will have some fabrics towards a second quilt, but ideally I would love to make a heart block quilt for a single bed for when baby Wong grows out of a cot.
If we get a boy! I will donate the squares and wishes to a someone who makes quilts for orphanage charity auctions.
The pink swap was only for 15 people and I swapped two squares and wishes with the other 14 swappers. The final posting date is not until June 15th but here are the squares and wishes I received today.
The lovely pink heart fabric and wish comes from Nazareth from the Canary Islands, Spain.

The pink large checked fabric and pink fabric with Chinese figures comes from Teresa from Spain. The wishes included the words to Ma Ma Hao. This was the music to a 196's Chinese film which is now a popular childrens song. We have Ma Ma Hoa on a childrens mandarin CD which we bought for baby Wong, so now we have the words in Chinese characters, pinyin and English. My MIL tells us the film is very sad!

I cant wait for the other 24 squares and wishes to arrive!

Individual Swaps
Rumor Queen Swap

I mailed out 28 squares and wishes for the RQ swap but still had not recieved 10 squares and wishes from those who participated in the swap. Recently there was a lot of emails on the RQ site regarding this and naming people who had not sent any fabric and wished out. Following this I recieve two more squares and wishes. The white fabric with different squares and coloured bugs is from the Kanable family, WI. Sadly I am collecting 8 X8 inch squares, and this is only 5 X8 so is too small to use in the quilt.
The pretty pink fabirc with a circular print comes from the Stizman family, Iowa

Individual Swaps

Here are a few individual swaps. Whilst I am not really collecting anymore as I need to start sewing my main quilt! I am taking part in individual swaps of people who email me.
The blue fabric with aeroplanes and rabbits comes from the O'Hearn family from Colorado.
Th blue fabric with moons and starts comes from the Seip family, Colorado
Chinese zodiac swap

These are three of the twelve Chinese Zodiac swaps that I have recieved.
The pig material and wish comes from Kammy Krisell, Arizona
The snake material and wish comes from Anik Noet, Canada
The Ox is cleverly made by Cortney Dotson, WA. She was unable to find any suitable fabric so made the Ox herself.
I had the monkey so sent my squares and wishes but also kept one to make up the 12 signs.

In the pink swap

These three squares and wishes were the final three to arrive from the in the pink swap that I hosted. I am lucky as both swaps which I organised I have recieved squares from everyone. Some swaps that you join, some squares and wishes dont arrive. I am not sure if this is the mail or people dont send them out. Its a real shame.
The cream and pink pattern comes from the Judge Family, Australia.
The lovely pink gingham material comes from my good cyber buddy Janet, all the way from the UK. Thanks J:)
And the pretty pink floral pattern comes from the Harper family from Canada.
Today the backing arrived for my quilt, now I have my squares, sashing, wadding and backing there is no excuse! I intend to start sewing the front the first week of March and have given myself a month to complete the front. I am still not sure if I will then send it out to be quilted by someone more experienced than myself. It also depends on if we get our referral before then!

RQ swap

This square and wish comes from part of the rumour queen swap and was sent by the Bigalow family in Florida.
This was a large swap and I should still have 12 more squares to arrive if everyone posts them! Also this week I have participated in four more individual swaps.
I now have exchanged enough squares to start sewing the main quilt soon, probably at the end of the month one the book is finished and the decorating done! I have also finally ordered the backing! So when that arrives there will be no excuse!
