Individual Swaps

These are two fabrics and wishes from the OHGW individual swaps. The lilac fabric with bright kites comes from the LePage family, SK. It is a very pretty wish. Thank you.

The whiter fabric with different shades of green Irish shamrocks comes from the O'Rouke family, WA.

Individual Swaps

These two squares and wishes were from individual swaps. The beige fabric with the chinese symbols is from the Doston family, WA.

The white fabric with a bright flowered pattern is from Ange afrom Belgium. Merci.

In the pink swap

These three squares and wishes were the final three to arrive from the in the pink swap that I hosted. I am lucky as both swaps which I organised I have recieved squares from everyone. Some swaps that you join, some squares and wishes dont arrive. I am not sure if this is the mail or people dont send them out. Its a real shame.

The cream and pink pattern comes from the Judge Family, Australia.


The lovely pink gingham material comes from my good cyber buddy Janet, all the way from the UK. Thanks J:)

And the pretty pink floral pattern comes from the Harper family from Canada.

Today the backing arrived for my quilt, now I have my squares, sashing, wadding and backing there is no excuse! I intend to start sewing the front the first week of March and have given myself a month to complete the front. I am still not sure if I will then send it out to be quilted by someone more experienced than myself. It also depends on if we get our referral before then!

Rumour Queen swap

This penguin fabric and wish came from the the LeBel family, NB and was from the large RQ swap that I participated in.

Reg thread swap

This square and wish arrived yesterday as part of the red thread swap I took part in last year. It is a dark red square with a white dotted pattern, and came beautifully presented. Thanks the Judge family from Australia

Individual swaps

These two squares and wishes have arrived from individual swaps that I have taken part in. The white square with different animals and leafs comes from the Conant family, IA.

The green fabric with butterflys and ladybirds comes from Debbie Sauer, from PA who is collecting for her grandchild.

RQ swap

This square and wish comes from part of the rumour queen swap and was sent by the Bigalow family in Florida.

This was a large swap and I should still have 12 more squares to arrive if everyone posts them! Also this week I have participated in four more individual swaps.

I now have exchanged enough squares to start sewing the main quilt soon, probably at the end of the month one the book is finished and the decorating done! I have also finally ordered the backing! So when that arrives there will be no excuse!

In the Pink Swap

This pretty pink butterfly material and wish came from the Walpert family, AL from the in the pink swap that I hosted. The last day for mailing has now passed so hopefully the other three squares will arrive soon.
